In the mid 1980s I served as Program Director for KCIK-TV Channel 14.  In the summer of 1984 I had El Paso all adither trying to guess the identity of the Mystery Man with my creation of the biggest contest ever to hit the city.  After six weeks of on-air promotion and  my personal appearances as the Mystery Man's PR agent, the contest ended with 5000 entries and 800 correct answers.  (1984)
