TOYLAND CASTLE (Castillo de Juguetes) is my first TV

programs produced at WNJT - TV, the new PBS station at Trenton, N.J.

entertainer Fernando Alvarez. (1971)

Puppet
master for the show was the nationally famous Paul Ashley, creator of
hundreds of characters including Rootie Kazootie, Gallipoochie Pup, and
the villainous Poison Sumac. Puppeteers were Angel Pineda, Jana Klenburg, and Salvador Levi. Additional material written by Marta Celorio. Permission to use his children's songs was granted by the famous
songwriter/lyricist Irving Caesar.
